Drake "Show"

On Tuesday, South Street Seaport was overflowing with over 10,000 fans anxiously waiting to hear the rhymes of rapper Drake. Kids, teens, and people of all ages were packed into the seaport for the free event. The event was sponsored by Paper Magazine’s Sounds Like Paper summer concert series. People came from far and wide just to get a glimpse of the rapper on June 15th, the day of his Thank Me Later album release. The concert was scheduled to be from 6-9PM but headliners, Drake and pop band Hanson, never crossed the stage.
Unfortunately, what started as a peaceful gathering of fans became unruly after NYPD decided the seaport was too crowded, canceled the show, and attempted to disperse the crowd. At around 7:45 PM impatient, angry fans that had been waiting for almost two hours to see a performance started to retaliate. People began throwing bottles toward the stage, people on balconies began to throw trash down on the crowd below, and it became an all out riot. Bottles, potted plants, chairs, and tables were all thrown in the midst of the chaos. At least two people were arrested during the commotion.

Drake released a statement saying:
“I am humbled by the crowd that showed up in support of my performance and the release of Thank Me Later. I love performing for my fans but unfortunately the show was canceled by the NYPD due to overcrowding, leaving me without the chance to give my fans a real show. I’m thankful for the support that the fans have been giving me… I thank you now.”

We don't know if there will ever be a next time because some of y'all, to put it frankly, don't know how to act. Here are some video from this "show":
